Chris Paouros

Co-Founder & Co-Chair
(she/her)

Chris is an organisational culture, strategy, leadership, change and EDI consultant. She is a lifelong Spurs fan (season ticket holder for both the men’s and women’s teams) and anti-discrimination activist and campaigner who believes football can be a positive force for social and cultural transformation. She has spent the last nine years as part of a movement seeking to rid football of discrimination in all its forms and make the game more diverse and inclusive.

Chris maintains that the most effective way forward is intersectional. She is Chair of the Board at the Women’s Equality Party; Trustee of LGBT+ education charity Just Like Us; Non-Exec Director of Leaders Unlocked, a social enterprise which enables young people and underrepresented groups to have a stronger voice on the issues that affect their lives. Chris spent many years running Europe’s first ‘out’ women’s football team and is Vice Chair and Trustee of Kick It Out, independent member of the FA’s Inclusion Advisory Board, Board Member at the Football Supporters Association, Supporter Representative on FA Council, Proud Lilywhites representative on, and co chair of the Tottenham Hotspur Fan Advisory Board and member of Women in Football. Chris is also a keynote speaker and broadcaster; hosting the Echoes of Glory podcast and regularly appearing on radio and television.

Lee Johnson

Co-Chair
(he/him)

Lee has been Co-chair of the Proud Lilywhites for a number of years now, after being on the committee before the pandemic. Born in North London, he comes from a household mixed with Spurs fans and a certain other north London side, and has been attending matches at the Lane since he was a young kid.

Now a season ticket holder, Lee has spoken publicly out about his personal experiences of homophobia in football and the challenges he’s faced in attending matches. He’s been an active campaigner in the #RetireTheChant movement, and continues to fight for the LGBTQI+ community to be heard and feel welcomed at football.

Sian Wallis

Secretary
(she/her)

Sian has been involved with the Proud Lilywhites since our launch and has gradually become more involved, now serving as the Secretary. She also represents the Proud Lilywhites on the FSA's Women's Network and National Council. She started supporting Spurs when Gary Lineker was on kids TV and as it turns out her family history is very much a North London one. Sian is a season ticket holder for the men and women though if pushed to choose you'll find her wherever the women are playing.

Faye Angeletta

Treasurer
(she/her)

Proud Lilywhites has been at the heart of Faye’s Tottenham journey for many years now, starting as a member and moving into a committee role. As a season ticket holder and an LGBTQI+ fan, Proud Lilywhites is something she is deeply proud to be a part of - from involvement in campaigns to the fun of match day meet ups, social events and lasting friendships. Faye is honoured to play a crucial part in a group that has achieved so much and wants to continue to contribute to push to be the leading supporters club in all matters relating to LGBTQI+ and wider inclusion and to ensure football is a safe space for all. Both things are very important to Faye’s experience as a Tottenham fan. Faye is our Treasurer, overseeing the financial affairs for the Proud Lilywhites. Outside all things Tottenham, she’s a director of a successful recruitment business and an avid runner. And Faye can’t wait to see what we achieve in the 23/24 season. COYS!

Sandip Kana

Community Officer
(he/him)

Sandip is new to the Proud Lilywhites committee for the 2023/24 season. He is looking forward to getting stuck in and contributing to making a meaningful impact on the community and is a passionate advocate for the inclusion of LGBTQI+ people in football. He is a firm believer that football can bring people from a diverse range of backgrounds together. As a committee member, he will strive to contribute to working to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all people in football. Away from all things Spurs, he recently completed his History PhD at King's College London and is now working on his first book project.

Kyle Boyd

Matchday Officer
(he/him)

Kyle has been a Spurs fan from a teenager and broke the mould from the rest of his family who support other teams. Originally from Northern Ireland, Kyle has been living in Liverpool since 2016 and for the last 3 seasons has been making the trip down to Tottenham for the majority of our home games.

Kyle has been a Proud Lilywhites committee member for the last 2 years and this season is undertaking the role of Matchday Officer, a role he is passionate about to ensure that every one of our members feels safe and included every match day.

He is a firm believer in inclusiveness throughout the game in both the men’s and women’s sphere and identifies that there is more work to be done and he is willing to step up to that challenge in whatever way he is needed.

Khya Gott

Digital Communications Officer
(she/her)

Khya has been on the Proud Lilywhites committee since the 2021/22 season. Having originally been elected into a non-portfolio role, she has spent back-to-back season’s as our digital communications official.

She has also spent time on the committee for Pride in Football, an LGBT+ network for Football Supporter Groups across the UK, and despite living in the North of England, travels around the country as often as she can to support both our men’s and women’s team.

Nic Shoults

Non-portfolio officer
(they/them)

Nic joined the Proud Lilywhites in 2023. Nic is a lifelong Tottenham fan, thanks to their older brother. Nic supported Tottenham from afar for many years until finding a safe space for LGBTQI+ football fans. Nic not only enjoys watching football but plays in the London Unity League, a league created for LGBTQ+ inclusive football. Football should be a safe space for everyone and Nic is looking forward to working alongside the committee to bring this to reality for Tottenham, thought the Proud Lilywhites.

Outside of football, Nic is a qualified accountant and has worked in the not-for-profit and charity sector, with a current focus on creating trans inclusive spaces in gender equality work.

Wendy James

Non-portfolio officer
(she/her)

Wendy is a season ticket holder for both the men and women’s teams and a life-long Spurs supporter. This is her second year as a member of the Proud Lilywhites committee and she is involved in organising social meet-ups and loves meeting Spurs fans from around the world.

Her favourite all-time Spurs player is Chris Waddle (even when he had a mullet!) and is excited to watch the new season under our new manager.

Away from football, Wendy works in Higher Education and is a passionate supporter of the work of the homeless charity Crisis.

Mogi Natsagdorj

Non-portfolio officer
(she/her)

Mogi was at the Proud Lilywhites launch event and now focuses her remarkable energy as a non-portfolio committee member. She is originally from Mongolia and lived in in Russia for 8 years whilst studying at Medical University. She is one of many LGBTQI+ refugees living in in London. Her journey to the UK was not an easy one and the Proud Lilywhites provided support during her asylum process, including providing a statement of support; something for which she is immensely grateful.

Mogi is proud to be part of the Proud Lilywhites and is proud of what we have achieved and how we blaze a trail for other LGBTQ+ fan groups in the UK. Her non-portfolio role is focused on meeting new members and making them feel welcome—spreading positive vibes 🥰 (you’ll know what we mean when you meet her!) She is always keen to create an inclusive and accepting football environment for everyone.

Mogi loves to take photographs and her pictures regularly focus across the Proud Lilywhites social media channels.

Sarah Meeks

Non-portfolio officer
(she/her)

Sarah has been playing football for over 30 years; it is her passion as well as other sports (including softball) and music. She first went to White Hart Lane in 1991 and her favourite all time player is Gary Lineker. She is a sign language interpreter and mum of two small kids; somehow managing, in amongst all this to squeeze in organising the Proud Lilywhites five-a-side team.
